LIFEFUL - COUNSELING & THERAPY CONSENT
1. INTRODUCTION
Welcome to Lifeful Wellness Studio.
Our goal is to support emotional wellbeing, mental health, personal growth, relationships, resilience, and overall quality of life through evidence-informed counseling and therapy services.
By booking or participating in counseling or therapy services through Lifeful, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this document and voluntarily consent to participate in services.

3. NATURE OF COUNSELING & THERAPY

- To prevent serious risk of harm to another person
- Where abuse, neglect, or exploitation of a child, elderly person, or vulnerable individual is suspected or reported
- When required by law
- When required by a court or lawful authority
- For professional supervision, consultation, or quality assurance activities where appropriate
Reasonable efforts will be made to protect your privacy and confidentiality.
8. CHILD AND ADOLESCENT SERVICES
For clients who are minors, consent from a parent or legal guardian may be required before services begin.
While therapists aim to maintain an appropriate level of privacy for children and adolescents, parents or guardians may be provided with information necessary to support safety, wellbeing, and treatment planning.
The extent of confidentiality may vary depending on the age, maturity, and circumstances of the child.
9. COUPLES AND FAMILY COUNSELING
In couples or family counseling:
- Multiple individuals participate in the therapeutic process.
- Information shared by one participant may be relevant to the therapeutic work of the group.
- Therapists may establish specific guidelines regarding confidentiality and communication among participants.
Lifeful cannot guarantee that information shared by one participant will remain confidential from other participants in the therapeutic process.
10. WELLNESS COACHING AND PSYCHOEDUCATION
Certain services may focus on wellbeing, lifestyle improvement, education, personal development, or skill-building.
These services:
- Do not replace mental health treatment when such treatment is needed.
- Are not intended to diagnose mental health or medical conditions.
- May be used alongside other healthcare services where appropriate.
11. PROFESSIONAL BOUNDARIES
Therapy is a professional relationship designed to support your wellbeing.
To maintain ethical and professional standards:
- Therapists will maintain appropriate professional boundaries.
- Communication outside scheduled sessions may be limited.
- Social, financial, business, or personal relationships between clients and therapists are generally inappropriate.
12. EMERGENCIES
Lifeful Wellness Studio does not provide emergency or crisis intervention services.
If you experience:
- Suicidal thoughts
- Risk of self-harm
- Risk of harm to others
- Severe mental health crisis
- Medical emergency
Please immediately contact emergency services or visit the nearest hospital.
Do not rely on scheduled therapy sessions for urgent or emergency assistance.
13. ATTENDANCE AND CONTINUITY OF CARE
Regular attendance often contributes to better therapeutic outcomes.
Missed sessions, inconsistent participation, or prolonged gaps between sessions may affect progress and continuity of care.
Cancellation and refund terms are governed by Lifeful's Cancellation & Refund Policy.
14. NO GUARANTEE OF OUTCOMES
Counseling and therapy involve professional guidance and collaborative effort.
While therapists work to support meaningful progress, no specific outcome, improvement, diagnosis, recovery, or result can be guaranteed.
15. CONSENT
By booking or participating in counseling and therapy services through Lifeful Wellness Studio, you acknowledge that:
- You have read and understood this Counseling & Therapy Consent.
- You have had the opportunity to review relevant policies.
- You voluntarily consent to participate in counseling, therapy, and related wellbeing services.
- You understand the benefits, limitations, and responsibilities associated with these services.
